Sonic uses schorchers, I did not try them yet but from what I hear they sound good.

Sonic is wearing a special pair of Scorchers in that game. They are most similar to the red Scorchers available to us, but his were designed to be unique and compliment his classic shoes.

Shadow, however, does not wear Soap shoes. The shoes he wears in that game are fictional hovershoes and do not have grindplates, but simply a concavity which gets the job done. Yes, you could say that they look strikingly like a Soap shoe that we could get, but the fact is that it was not inspired by or modeled after one.
