Are express plates similar to speedsters? They look the same..

yeah, they're pretty much the same. The only difference is that there are grooves already on the outside and inside of the speedsters. Those grooves need to be made yourself on the express plate, which is fine.

yeah try to get a pair of shoes with the express plate. Not a lot of those shoes are sexy, but they are very good beginner shoes and incredibly light.
