Grooves and Breaking
Feb 1, 2010 by sylonbroadsides

someone was asking about grooves. When you get better at soaping, try to get grooves on the side of your shoes.

This does two things:

1. Gives you better lockon when you lockin on a rail or even a ledge.

2. It brings you closer to the rubber on the side of the shoe. This may sound like a bad thing, however it's a great thing. Bringing your grind plate close to the rubber on the side of the shoe will allow you to BREAK, and you can have better CONTROL

Guys, if you have ever checked out the vides oNe and tWo, they are breaking their grinds as I am describing. You can even hear the rubber squeaking as they break.

Any other questions, just make a thread and I will reply
