its easier on skates i find. cause you can put your weight on your frame. but if you to that on soaps, your foot slipd off and the rail goes right in your face. nice grind again out

yeah, these shoes are nothing like the t-bones. the sole plate does go the entire way. and the dude that said skates are easier is right. you can lock on better with skates because you have the frame to lean on. the broadsides/a-sides are a little weird at first... you just gotta strengthen your ankles by using them a lot and then they're just as easy as doing a frontside.

A mizuo is what you see....a Sweatstance is when the back foot isnt tweaked at all....A Mistrial is when your back foot is tweaked like a royale.......just a heads up

Is it just me or do when we Soap we automatically look down? I've noticed that not only in the many pics on here but when I'm Soaping. If it's something stupid like a curb or something then I usually don't look down but with stuff like higher ledges and my practice rail, I have this instinct to look down as I'm grinding.

hmm, well if you jump into a sweatstance/mizou so that your back foot is jumping in like a backside that would be a mizou, but if you jump into a sweatstance/mizou so that your back foot is jumping in like a frontside that would be a sweatstance. Or at least thats what I've heard

Sweatstances are usually thought of as harder than Mizous because on skates you have to jump over the rail and land on the outside soul plate.

Stu's got it; you land a Mizuo as if you were landing a backside; Sweatstance is essentially a 'frontside Mizuo'. The difference is completely unnoticeable in Soaping unless you've got video, but on blades it's obvious as your lead foot is topside on a Sweatstance
