using a pro action replay, you can hack into the game. You can access the UHFs for Sonics plates and the Slipknot plate for Shadow

Yeah that's the thing, honestly, I think they said that Sonic's Soap shoes were Scorchers just as product placement, so that kids would so "oh, then I want them, since Sonic has them". Apparently it worked well. Really though, there aren't any similarities between the real deal and Sonic's Soaps other than that they are both red.

Shadow was either using inline skates or slipknot plates.

Sonic the hedgehog was known for wearing soap shoes scorcher.

However, he did sole grinds in the video game.

I've seen official art of Sonic's shoes, there's no sole plate. The only way Sonic is able to do sole grinds is through the power of being a fictional character.

I just remembered something.
Quite a few people think that the sonic character's ages don't change but what would that mean timeline wise is that every single sonic game happened within a year.
