It has a black and white pic of Ryan Dawes bustin a grind on a huge kinked set. The side says "Ryan Dawes, Pro Skater" and the bottom has a picture of a shoe with the soap logo. Next to that there is a little slogan that says, "Shoes for the daily grind." As of now, Soap is putting the ad in Daily Bread for sure. Can you think of any other good magazines to put it in? We will probably stay away from skateboard magazines, but can you think of any other inline magazines or pop mags that kids our age read? It's what international distributors like Shiner do; advertising and selling the products on behalf of the company... if anything, it shows that Soap recognise that there is a market outside of the US. Jul 15, 2003 dunk Shiner Extreme Sports advertise on the back of Unity mag every month, and since they're the official UK Soap shoe distributor they always seem to have all the official advertising material anyway ...with the exception of this advert (http://www.hintclothing.com/media/soapshoes_ad.jpg), which was pretty bad in my opinion. As for the Unity mag website, apparently it's 'under construction' but they've put it on the back burner whilst the mag goes monthly during the summer. Jul 15, 2003 dunk Oh, yeah. Unity's available throughout the UK and Europe, but considering the US already has Dailybread, I doubt many people are interested in reading a small time, bi-monthly british rolling zine... which is what it is. Plus if they're going to run print ads in rolling mags like the DB, they should try to run video ads in life+ and whathaveyou. from what ive heard they already got video from the people on the team.
