alexei adds: As always, it depends on the amount of ledge/curb use you'll give them, aswell as if you wear the shoes on a everyday basis. If you want your plate to last you forever, make sure the curbs and ledges are waxed well (or just grind more rails!) and stay away from small square rails. These will dig into your plates, wearing them down. I've never used Slo Bro plates for very long, but my shoes which have Old School and BBK's have never needed to be replaced, and these shoes are two years old and counting...
