New Heely Wheels
Nov 15, 2004 by derek So I've been doing some Heely demos lately and have gotten to roll around on the new Revolutions quite a bit. They're awesome, a huge step up from other heelys. My favorite for rolling around is probably still the Mack, but there is word that those are being discontinued. They may look dorky, but you can balance so good on them. Plus they have pretty good grindplates... Anyway, if you don't know a whole lot about Heelys, most of the wheels have Micro Bearrings which are basically smaller bearrings. They're cool and all but they just aren't as smooth or fast as regular sized inline skate/skateboard bearrings. The revolutions, however, have a much larger wheel with full sized Abec 7 bearrings. They are so smooth, so fast, and so comfortable. You can roll much easier with these shoes and there is so much more balance with the wider wheel. Check out this comparison from the front and the side. Now we can just hope they make a shoe with these fat wheels along with grindplates. It will seriously be a much better combination. Comments

I know this is a rather old post, but still thought I'd update that they have since made two shoes with the fatter wheel called MEGA wheels, the models are called evolution and torch. Sadly they discontinued evolutions, but these are seriously great shoes. They feature the EXACT soap express plate.

They respond by sending in an agent, a missionary set to convert us to... heelers.
