March 9th saw 75 skateboarders descend onto the mall in Raleigh, there purpose to show that skateboarding is bit and that they need a skatepark, and that skaters are decent people who really do care. The skaters put together whatever money they could to donate to the American Cancer Society. However, skating is banned from the area, so police were quick to come along and break up the fun of the charitalbe skaters, in typical no-fun cop style. Check the whole story here
