Turntables and Forklifts.
Feb 17, 2002 by Tanner

Alright, I bought a pair of Forklifts from PacSun, and loved those shoes. I grinded pretty hardcore in them. After a few months, the soles of the shoes started splitting at the each end of the plates. It ripped and more or less fell apart. I figured it was just because the shoes had been through hell, or it would just be those. I bought a pair of Turntables, which you know have the same lower as Forklifts, and I tried as hard as I could to keep those 100 dollar shoes new... but sure enough, after a few months the exact same thing happened to them that happened to my Forklifts. What the hell's the deal? My scabs have lasted me for 3 years now.

Tanner adds: Yeah, I have the exact same problem with my forklifts. I have even called SOAP to see what was up, and I still don't have 'em fixed. The only thing I'd suggest is to be very careful how much weight you put on your feet when you bend your toes.
