SOAP Grind Location List
Apr 20, 2007 by SapAuthor

I know on the current SOAP site, there is a grind spot locator. What do you all think of starting up a new one? If you get google earth (free program) you can even find the spot, pinpoint it and get the longitude and latitude, so people can google map right to the spot. I'll start this out.

-------------------------------------------
Location: Green Bay, WI
Spot: Community skatepark
44°30'18.30"N
87°59'44.06"W
Features:
-20 ft round ground rail
-4 stair hand rail
-45 degree rail of death
-Plenty of boxes and ledges (all metal plated)

Rail City (Basically, will get pics later)
Location:
475 100th Ave NE
Bellevue, WA 98004
Spot: Huuuuuge spot of the business district that is empty after 2pm

-Many, many, many, many, many handrails that are at least 20ft each.
-One 100 stair rail with a kink and a gap in the middle
-One 50+ kinked handrail
-Lot's of random, slanted hand rails
-Lots of ledges made out of marble or smooth concrete
-Right next to the mall that has even more rails inside of it

I am not going to put the latitude or longitude of this place. What's the deal?

Cause then you can see the place straight away without having to come up with any wrong results

with Soaptopia, I couldn't find it unless I searched the latitude and longitude for the place, otherwise google maps came up with nothing useful

Actually for Google Earth, all you have to do is search Corona Queens and then zoom around until you see a giant Soap O.

Yeah, unless you stick up the coordinates nobody from outside the area is going to be able to find these places

if anyone knows any good spots for beginners like me, maybe some long rails about 2-3 feet high near Grayson county in northern Texas.

*Sigh* My backyard. A couple of shops here in San Antonio are good. I haven't actually grinded them cuz my parents are always like "You better not grind that...or else!"
So...yeah...

oh yeah, i found a round kinked rail, so thatll be a new edition to the rails in my yard

"longitude and latitude, so people can google map right to the spot."

Helloooo :P, go to google map, punch in the coordinates, and it will go to the direct spot, then just click "to here" and type in where you are from. It's also how we did it with the upcoming SOAP demo. lol.
