i can't say from to much experience, but i perosnally love my expresses, they lock easy and are pretty light. only problem is they are cemented shoes, not replaceable.

Cam you tell us anything else about yourself?

So far I think you should go for a shoe with a fixed grindplate... maybe Impact... or Express.
