My friend Bryan and I recently got a pair of bizo shoes. For those of you who don't know, they are a different brand of grind shoes. We both won a pair from their website Bizo.com. We took them out for a week of grinding and this is what we found.

As experenced soapers we were skeptical about how the bizo's would work. The first thing we noticed is how they looked. they looked suprisingly better than in the pictures. First we took them to some waxed up curbs; boy were we suprised. They out performed my pair of praba's, with there thicker and more durable grind plates. Next we took them to some rails that ranged from 6-30 ft long, with varying steepnesse. They worked on all of the rails, however the ones that were longer or more steep were usually easier to grind.

While they did work on all of the same surfaces as soaps there were some things that we did not like about the shoes. the worst thing about them was the size of the plates. They were smaller than regular plates.

Overall, we rate these shoes about an 8. They worked just as well, if not better than my soaps. I recommend them to anyone who is tired of going as slow as mud on curbs.

I enjoy my Bizo shoes a lot. I feel kind of bad for the people at Bizo because I wonder how they stay above. You would think with the lack of sales, they would go under. Hmmm... but anyways Bizo has some awesome shoes. I love them. At first I was skeptical, and coming back into the FSW scene just a little bit ago (I have been in and out since about 4 years ago) I thought a good price, bad shoe, but it will hold me over for a while. Boy, was I wrong. This shoe is AWESOME. I actually use my Bizo's more than my Boltars. I will probably pick up some of Soaps new shoes also. There is only one thing I am still skeptical about. The grind plate system. What exactly do I do when it grinds away?

Just days ago I purchased a pair of BIZO grind shoes. I would have bought some Soaps but they did not fit my budget. For $20 I thought that they wouldn't be anywhere near as good as Soaps, but they seemed very good for such a reasonable price. They grind well and have good features. Removeable plastic plates, special armor, light weight. They were pretty good, too. The only thing I had a problem with was curbs. The plates are shaped so that they don't grind curbs well. I suppose it's a good thing since curbs wear out the plates so fast. BIZO, I think, is a very small company who is just starting out. I noticed that their inventory only included 5 different shoes and no accessories, and they used a Yahoo store to ship their products through. They, so far, only have one location in Florida. If you are looking for a good grind shoe for a low price and don't expect to be grinding any curbs these are the shoes for you. Their sale is ending soon, though, and the shoes will go back to $80. Buy a pair while they're cheap.

I dug a pair of Bizo's out of my closet and am wearing them today. I honestly forgot how comfortable these shoes are. They may look like moon boots, but man they're comfy. One annoying thing is that the grindplate actually sits on the ground level with the bottom of the rubber. So every rock you step on makes a super loud "rock crunching" sound. It's something you get used to with Soaps, but it's much worse with these shoes. Also, my shoes say "BIZO Armor" on the tongue. I wish I knew all the bizo models...

Now I wanna try grinding with them to see how they grind.

'BIZO Armor' is the material they made the shoes out of to protect the shoes. I have no idea exactly what it was, probably just normal shoe material with some crap on it
