Well I doubt the do it in the game, But in a sequence within the game it looks like they are going to go attack and they are on some sort of flying machine, So ropes/rails come out and they grind with the arch of their shoes/boots! I can't really tell if they are Soaps but they sure seem like 'em, Wonder if Soap's knows about this?"

Tanner adds: Yea, I heard about this from Treiben, however, I think that Final Fantasy has waaaaay to many games out. I hope soap knows about this.........
