Country terrain vs Expresses
May 27, 2007 by Joshua3109

Hey,I live in the country were there are beautiful trees, fields and ROCKS. I mean they are everywere! I go camping out in town with my Soaps so I can hit some ledges on the way and i come back with my shoes plates looking like theyve been put through a blender on full power. Should I stop wearing my shoes out around rocky paths and stuff or will the plates be ok?

O, the plates still have their shape but their are bits of plastic hangin off and everything. Not very pretty to say the least.

Yeah, Expresses aren't good on ledges and stuff like that.

Wtf are you talking about Megashadow? Express are good for anything. Most people like them for ledges. Plus, they are some of the fastest, longest lasting plates

Well, hard rocky ledges rips up the plate.....

...and creates grooves for better lock-in.

Your plates probably won't be worn too badly. Just don't grind a whole bunch of unwaxed concrete.

Any rocky ledges will rip up the plate. And replaceable plates wont fix that. Just use wax. And besides, the Express last longer than all of the removable plates except the curb busters
