Soap Shoes for beginners (non removeable grind plates)
Feb 1, 2010 by sylonbroadsides

There seems to be a bit of controversy about the removable grind plates and non-removable grind plates.

To be honest guys, there really is no differents. Those two shoes are going to wear out the same, and the only time you should get another pair of soap shoes is when you can no longer grind with them anymore.

The only nich to having a pair of removable grind shoes is so you can put in a different plate such as curb busters to grind on curbs, or slo bros for better lock in.

Instead of worrying about which pair of soap shoes to get, just try and get a pair until HSL stops being really dumb.

by the way, if you are just a beginner, try painted curbs first, then ledges, then handrails. Use parafin wax for rails (works for curbs too), beeswax works better on ledges and curbs.
