Ordnance restoration
Apr 24, 2011 by Joshua3109

I got my red and black Ordnances here and im restoring them as they're somewhat collectors items now. They're in pristine condition as it is but the midsole is yellowed from age. I thought I'd post some pics when I was finished for you guys to see.

I just got the spray paint off off the midsole (I attempted to cover the yellowed midsole with black spray paint years ago...) and have been going at them with gasoline and a bit of sandpaper.

I cleaned the plates and am in the process of drying the insole. (I think I may take the black insole out of my black expresses to put in them if they fit.)

They are now much whiter and im thinking of getting some "shoe whitener" to finish the job. What do you guys think?

Also, I need some laces for them, I was thinking black or red. Opinions?

Do it up.

As far as the laces go, I think red one's would definitely... tie it together.
