Perfect rail grinding plates. Nice lock on, shame they werent replacable. The middle groove helps to reduce the plate contact area during frontsides making it faster.
From what I can tell from most of your input if the plates where switched to kinds of cars:
BBK=It is that car you'll get if you have good grades in school and put down that extra 2000
Curb Buster=Dying late 80's and earily 90's Import
Express=Another First Car
Impact= Styling(I.E. great for royales) modded 1990's car
Maxwell=Pinto
Octane= Hot of the line Import(I.E. 07 skyline)
Quickdraw=A unrelased verison Hand me down car
Slipknot= Sick looking import
Slo Bro= 1980's/90's sleeper Imports
Speedster= Drag car/hot rods
T-Bone= old 1970's/80's car
UHF Original= Your first car
Five words, and they're in song.
*ahem* Sonic the Hedgehog's grind plates!
(These lyrics are sung to the tune of the 1up song from the first Sonic game but then again, NO ONE CARES!)
you are mistaken, friend owns those scorchers, he should post if im not correct but as far as I remember from the bid they were just a pair of unused scorchers with the red color scheme. not ones given out by SEGA themeselves...
no they are not. the only thing different i see on them is that they say "www.soapshoes.com" on the tounge and on the side of the shoe. the rest looks the same.
dude. the royale groove, the thickness of the plate, the slant and width of the inner groove, and most importantly, the materials they are made of.
the plates are completely different densities. do you think all grind plates from soap have been made with the same plastics, etc? not even close - this is especially true for the speedsters.
I'm actually kinda happy that they only had these plates on the scorchers. I mean, who knows what other shoes they could have made with this plate. Like how there are the chaos with the express plate, the express with the express, the slice with the express, etc. With this plate, it was just one model. :D
Although I think the thing about the curb buster and UHF original are a little bit wrong, I think that they are good plates for curbs and ledges only. Other than that, he has things pretty well worked out lol
I remember someone saying octanes were pretty much replaceable speedsters. Incredible lock on and it was really fast. I think someone also said quickdraws were suppose to be replaceable speedsters too. Too bad the closest you can get to speedsters are express plates. Don't get me wrong though, expresses are sick :D
Sorry ok... Obviously expresses don't compare to in terms of speed but I meant design wise... V lock in, four dents, you know... I just liked the express. First thing I got and I loved them... The royale/farf groove, the thickness of the plate, and plastic is different you know what I mean right? Sorry for even bringing it up. Hope you don't hate on slow bros though. Let's just be friends, we're a small community as it is...
Speedsters are dope. These are what the Soap gods used to slide down rails in Big O and tWo. They are by far the most famous model along with Broadsides. All noobs say "I would fucking ace this rail if I had scorchers". That is bullshit. These plates are fast. It is like having a lion pet. That shit is dangerous if not handled correctly. Slo-Bros are better at tricks and shit. If Octane is basically slo bro and this combined.

Octanes should have been a race car though, because after a short period of time, they are most likely shot?
