It has layered protection areas with soft mesh for comfort. The Spike's armour extends to triple layer leather in the ollie area (for all you skaters), a molded heel plate, a rubber bumper that covers all of the toe area, a polyurethane midsole for comfortable landings, a sidewall brake bar for speed control, a durable rubber outsole for lots of grip, and finally, a replacable Curb Buster grind plate for sliding on the roughest of surfaces.
