There is the chance. We are still trying to figure out why, Steve thinks its because you have to pay a royalty fee to have the bubble. Renny says that although there is no air bubble, the rubber is softer, so it is as cooshanie. Yeah...we're testing them out.

Is there any chance that any BBK plate shoes will be back?

It is already in effect. I ordered mine two weeks ago, and I got the scam/chaos/groove bottom on my Express. I hear it's only for sizes 10-12 however.

Both bottoms are good. There no difference. The only difference is that the Express sole has a bubble.

The brake bar on the Scam's sole works better with the Express' upper. Its a really good match....its also lighter.

Just go look at the scam's sole...

wow, that vastly changes the amount of brake bar exposed

Apr 15, 2007AnthoFlex

I think the Scam sole's (Number 10's showed) go very VERY well with the Express brake bar. You have 2 sections of brake bars:

The Mesh bar above the plate (DEEP Groove needed to use this bar)

and for EXTRA control is the brake bar curve above the Mesh bar. The black on its own is a great bar, but if you are going waaay too fast, that Gray strip is your best friend...Seriously

Apr 15, 2007AnthoFlex

Now i know what you are thinking:

Q.
Well, uhh, why not just use the gray strip on both?

A.

I have GREATLY examined the gray strip on the Bubble-sole and the Scam-sole Express.

The Gray bar on the Scam-sole Express is a strong very "Grippy" (if thats the word) bar. It will 100% NEVER fail you on a rail...

The Bubble-sole's gray strip is....well, feels like plastic... It slides just like the plate on the rail, with VERY little friction...i really don't trust it for braking on rails

Hey I talked to Steve, IN PERSON!!! and he said they might be a defect. Oh yeah, I got my new express!!!

Apr 16, 2007Mart

Pfft, brake bars. Torque your grinds out more ;)

Apr 16, 2007SonicSoaper

And crack yo heads like an Easter egg without the hard-boiled crap.

Apr 16, 2007AnthoFlex

:D, crazy Mart, you know you are the biggest Brake bar person on this site, haha

But these brake bars on the Express are F'ing awesome, they taught me Backslides, which i NEVER thought i would learn

Apr 17, 2007Mart

Vectors don't have brake bars, foo!

Apr 17, 2007AnthoFlex

OOOHH MAANN, Its the dinosaur again!!! WHOOO!

And its not even his B-day! WHOOOO

Hmmm, Vectors dunt have brake bars...i thought they did. Well, i would imagine that the little bump on the sole that sticks out helps a bit

Apr 17, 2007Mart

If you hit that, you're on the side of the shoe anyway

Apr 17, 2007SonicSoaper

Lots of knee-bending is required for that to happen.

Apr 17, 2007AnthoFlex

Yea, i guess so, (in response to Mart)

as for AJ, you can just be lazy and tweak your ankles

Apr 17, 2007rhinoskater30

back to the TOPIC like i said they might be a defect

Or theyre supposed to be like that

Apr 18, 2007rhinoskater30

ok yeah, i have the new pair its a size 11, i guess its not a defect, we did talk about something that WAS wrong with some pairs though

ARE THEY STILL GOOD THOUGH???

Apr 18, 2007SonicSoaper

Yeah you could tweak your ankles, and then have whatever trick you were doing be ripped apart because of the fact that there was no knee-bending.

Apr 18, 2007AnthoFlex

Yes, dude, they are FINE, there is NOOOOOO difference

Apr 18, 2007Tasslehoff

hehe im getting size 9s. my guess is that the 10s heel bubble is stronger since its covered by the shoe material and not weaker plastics.

Apr 18, 2007Surfaced

I dont think there is a shock absorber in 10-12.

Apr 18, 2007AnthoFlex

um ok, ur gonna be left with a harder, heavier shoe
