I'll do my write up on these as I own them for anyone who ever gets interested in them. This is my verdict

The Good--
Well on the higher notes these shoes are pretty nice in looks, especially in the black/charcoal rather then the strange gray thing,red.. thing. Anyways the plate is workable, little tweakable as most express are which is a good thing if you own some sandpaper. They hold up alright to very tweaked tricks as they have "elastic bands" on either side near the tongue to accept such a freature (way to go around the exofilant bars.. haha) The 3m reflective stuff on the lace holes is a pretty nice touch but they should have a larger pieces in the back and front of the shoe to match it.

The bad--
If your a hardcore soaper then you'll be turned off of the heeling part and the fact the shoe has a huge hole in the heel for a wheel(no rhyme intended). This shoe is just a frankenstein of the previous incarnate "Evolution" which has the exact same sole and plate. The only difference is the shell and possible how it feel inside. Heelys has a hard on to seem to keep changing their shoe style.. what a strange concept.

The ugly--
Wearing these shoes for over 2 hours will start to get VERY uncomfortable- the stitching at the top of tongue( or bottom since its near the toe) near my instep anyways starts to bug the crap out of me. I don't like promoting heelys shoes even though I'm soaping but since I can't represent them (no soaps) I have to redirect anyone who ask me to heelys since I am wearing them. The sole saver plugs - good idea in theory but executed strangely. When you stick them in you can actually feel this chunk of rubber/plastic thingy on your heel and its strange and feels bleh. They walk a lot nicer without the plugs in them(or wheels). The comfort factor of putting a foot in these overall isn't that great as well. I switched my inserts to help a little since these are all I got.

Verdict--

If you like heelys or just want the heel in the wheel and still want the plate I would suggest these. The MEGA wheels are super fast and nice. The style is alright, but I wish heelys would go back to there older styles like the "Grails" those are good looking heelys for a change, what a concept! If your looking for a shoe with a grind plate, I would not suggest these unless its your only option or your desperate and jonesing (as I was).

I rate Heelys Torch 5 stars out of 10 for soapers. Or 7 stars out of 10 for heelys guys.

By the way, I was desperate and jonesing as well. That's why I said in another post somewhere on here "I had to make a choice..."

They should really learn who help Heelys along in the first place. It's because of those plates.

Grind like shit eh? How would you know? Did you wear the freakin shoe. It may be a Heelys shoe but that's what I used to learn my skills.

It feels the same as the Express actually.

Wen I'm wearing them. The only difference is that I can feel the grind plate touch my feet.

antho, these shoes don't look, roll, or grind like shit. They're the best shoes available.

Well....ppl got mad at me for talking about heelys on here. Same goes for talking about soaps there. This whole banhammer thing (what the admins use to ban us) is getting completely out of control. This guy came on and tried to talk to ppl, but he was using all caps and said his caps lock was broken or something. The font annoyed the heelychatters and they had him banned.

Yeah, that's what you call an abusive staff. Between you and me, it looks like Heelychat is going to end up as a huge mess if the staff is going to run around and act like that.

Actually its because ur annoying. And ur right, it is a natural thing. I honestly wish it weren't like that, but look at the situtation.

If heelys were completely dead because Soap kept stomping it further into the floor, and theres only a tiny group of Heelers who bust their ass everyday trying to bring back the Heelys name, while Soap is getting all the fame and glory, wouldnt you hate on us without thought? What if it were the other way around, like if Soap was the shoe with the "wheel in the heel" and Heelys were the grinding shoes? Then apply what i just said.
